STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF 50 CENT ISSUED BY HIS PR FIRM:

"Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property. He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquis, escaped the burning house safely. He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings."

Here is the story

Newsday reports that early Friday morning, a raging fire destroyed 50 Cent’s Dix Hills home.

Fire officials said, that 6 people were sent to hospital but there were no serious injuries.

Officials would not say whether the fire was suspicious but police confirmed that arson squad investigators were on the scene.

Last month, 50 Cent went to court to evict his fromer girlfriend and baby mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, from the Dix Hills home. Tompkins was sharing the house with her and 50 Cent’s son Marquise, her daughter from another relationship, as well as her boyfriend.

"The fire was huge, I mean huge," next-door neighbor Debra Lotz said. "I watched the whole fire from our pool [area] . . . It burned down to the ground."

Neighbor Frank Hoyte said: Shaniqua Tompkins was standing outside on the street. She was barefoot and she was wearing a bathrobe.

Hoyte continued that there were five others with her: two young boys, one being Marquise, the 10-year-old son of 50 Cent and Tompkins, as well as two teenaged girls and "an older woman" Hoyte said Tompkins told him that a passerby had banged on her door, told her the house was on fire and everyone needed to leave -- and then disappeared.

Second Precinct Lt. Robert Sweeney from the Suffolk County Police said that "passerby" was actually an off-duty Suffolk cop who works in crime scene investigation.

The fire broke out at 5 a.m. Firefighters from Dix Hills, Deer Park, Greenlawn, Commack and Melville all responded to the blaze.

Fire officials said emergency medical technicians from Commack Ambulance and Huntington Ambulance also responded to the blaze and transported "six civilians" to the Hospital. Sources told Newsday the injuries were all believed to be smoke-related.

Wahnsinn! 50 Cents Leben muss wohl bald nochmal verfilmt werden. Die Ereignisse überschlagen sich derzeit mal wieder. Doch diese News ist einfach zu krass. Laut Medienberichten brannte 50 Cents Haus in Long Island / New York, das derzeit von 50s Ex Shaniqua Tompkins und dem gemeinsamen Sohn Marquis bewohnt wird, gestern komplett ab! Als das Haus aus bisher noch unbekannten Gründen Feuer fing, befanden sich sowohl Shaniqua mit Sohn Marquis, wie auch weitere vier Gäste im Haus. Alle anwesenden Person konnten sich jedoch rechtzeitig retten und wurden mit kleineren, nicht lebensbedrohlichen Rauchvergiftungen in ein Krankenhaus eingeliefert.

Doch jetzt wird's erst so richtig skurril. Gerüchten zufolge ermittelt die Polizei nun sowohl gegen Shaniqua Tompkins, als auch gegen 50 Cent selbst. Tage vorher stritten sich die Beiden nämlich erbittert um die 2,4 Millionen Dollar Hütte. Fiddy versucht seine Babymama und ihren neuen Lebensgefährten seit Monaten aus dem Haus zu klagen. Shaniqua entgegen behauptet, 50 Cent hätte ihr und seinem Sohn Marquis das Anwesen versprochen. Sollte 50 Marquis' Leben auf's Spiel gesetzt und das Haus aus Rache selbst angezündet haben? Wir bleiben dran!

Update:
TMZ sprach heute mit 50 Cents Babymama nachdem sie aus dem Krankenhaus entlassen wurde. Sie behauptet 50 Cent hätte jemandem den Auftrag erteilt, sein Haus abzufackeln.

Shaniqua Tompkins wörtlich: "Ja er ist zu so etwas fähig, wenn er wütend ist. Er dachte sich wohl, wenn er mich nicht haben kann, dann auch sonst niemand. Er sagte zu mir, er würde jemanden vorbei schicken, um mich umzubringen und ich solle nur abwarten, was er tun wird. Er hat es getan. Er hat uns bis jetzt nicht kontaktiert, um zu sehen wie es seinem Sohn geht! Ich bin unfassbar wütend!"

Zwischenzeitlich veröffentlichte ein Sprecher von Fiddy folgendes Statement: "50 Cent erreichte die Nachricht heute morgen. Er befindet sich gerade in Louisiana um dort einen neuen Film abzudrehen und ist über die Ereignisse sehr schockiert. Er ist extrem dankbar dafür, dass sich alle - inklusive sein Sohn Marquis - vor den Flammen retten konnten. 50 ist sich sicher, dass das örtliche Police-Department sofort die Ermittlungen einleiten wird und kann deren Ergebnisse kaum erwarten!"

Unfassbare Story! Sobald 50 Cent persönlich zu den Vorwürfen Stellung nimmt, lassen wir's euch wissen.

0 Cent didn’t do it. Following Shaniqua Tompkins’ allegations that he threatened to kill her, Fif issued a statement through his attorney, Brett Kimmel.

“Any suggestion that Mr. Jackson had anything whatsoever to do with the fire at his home is outrageous and offensive,” the statement reads.

As previously reported, Fif’s Long Island mansion was set ablaze this morning. Tompkins and Fif’s 10-year-old son, Marquise, escaped the fire and were sent to the hospital. Fif and Tompkins are currently in litigation regarding the house. The Queens rapper attempted to boot Tompkins out of the house last month unless she agreed to pay $4,500 per month in rent. TMZ cameras recently captured the former couple arguing near the house. TMZ also caught up with Tompkins as she returned to the ravaged home earlier today.

“I think he would,” Tompkins told snapped when asked if Fif was capable of torching the house. “He’s obsessed. If he can’t have me, no one can. He’s obsessed. He said he was gonna have someone come kill me and watch he does. And that’s exactly what he did.”
